OMG, I was so not prepared for the emotions in this book and I freaking LOVED it!! I have been looking forward to Miller and Kinsey’s story since Fraternize and it was fantastic.

I fell in love with Miller right from the start and my heart broke for him. I will admit, I really wanted Fraternize to end a different way but hey, we don’t always get what we want, right? But, OMG there is definitely some intense chemistry and crazy, powerful feelings between him and Kinsey that make me a true believer in their romance.

This book has it all – second chances, lust, love, romance, humor, devotion, friendship, heartache, loss, healing. I was completely wrapped up in the storyline and could not put the book down. It was definitely one of those don’t-mess-with-mom-while -she-is-reading moments for the entire book! I laughed, I cried, I mourned, and I loved right along with the amazing characters Rachel brought to life.

I also love that we get to see Jax find his HEA – two hot and steamy romances in one book – you CANNOT go wrong here! This is a must one-click and while you’re at it, make sure to pick up book one. Kudos to Rachel Van Dyken on an outstanding two book series!

Infraction by Rachel Van Dyken is he second book in her new Players Game series. This is Miller and Kinsey's story. Emotional, heart-breaking, steamy, and deeply touching this is yet another wonderful story by a must-read author. Told in dual POV, the romance is a standalone but the interconnecting stories SHOULD be read in series order.

Miller really didn't mean to sleep with his best friends sister. She is so far beyond off-limits and do not touch that she shouldn't be on his radar. Yet she is. Despite his recent heartache and revelations in his life, he is beyond intrigued and enamored with this feisty cheerleader.

Kinsey is used to controlling men. Her brother Jax pretty much runs her life. But she kinda owes him and prefers to keep his stress levels down so she allows his control all while knowing it comes from a place of deep love and affection. Her attraction to Miller is making Jax's control issues a problem.

The ups and downs of their relationship, the complexities of their family lives and their friendships, the problems they face together - all this makes for such a wonderful and emotional romance. Enjoy!

Infraction is the second book in Rachel Van Dyken's Players Game series and it showcases each and every emotion you can imagine. It has all of the highs and lows you look for in a great book.

Miller Quinton is one of those guys that will do anything for his "family" and there is no doubt that Jax Romanov fits that description. Jax might not be blood related, but in Miller's world, he'll still do whatever he can to help a close friend and in this case he is asked to "fake date" Jax's sister, Kinsey to help her out with an ex, who happens to be one of their teammates. While that might sound like a complicated ask from a friend at any time, what Jax doesn't know is that a kiss between Kinsey and Miller in Vegas some months ago wasn't just a kiss...

Kinsey Romanov has been dealing with a lot in her life and because of that, she's just come back from an extended trip thanks to the suggestion of her brother and the guy she is now fake-dating, Miller. While Kinsey appreciates her brother watching out for her, sometimes he goes just a tad too far with his over protectiveness and it's starting to wear on her.

As Kinsey and Miller continue to spend time together, what started out as fake is quickly growing to be real. Will secrets that are being kept on both sides signal the end of this relationship before it really begins? Or will it be the over-protectiveness of Jax that ends up causing problems?

I really enjoyed the characters in this book and while there were definitely parts that were laugh out loud funny, there were also a lot of very emotional parts that tugged at my heartstrings. Rachel Van Dyken did a fantastic job of crafting a story that took us through the highs and lows of relationships , both familial and romantic, and showed us that having the heart of a lion is sometimes the best thing a person can remember. I would highly recommend picking this book up!

I don't know if I had prepared myself emotionally for Infraction. This book brought out a lot of emotions in me, it dredged up parts of my past that I try not to think about as well as the loss of some of the people closest to me in life. Rachel Van Dyken didn't just write a book about football or a book about a football player and a cheerleader, no she wrote a book about love, second chances, friendships, heartache, pain, loss and healing. Infraction blew me away, I couldn't put it down. When a fellow blogger and friend was reading her arc after I finished it I still felt all the emotions that I had felt reading it only days before she did.

Miller and Kinsley will have you laughing, they will have you shaking your head in frustration, you will love with your whole heart and fill your eyes with both happy and sad tears. Both have pain in their past, both are damaged but both are strong at the same time. Actions on both parts start this off as a read that has you wondering if a second chance is even likely between them but slowly you see that they not only deserve a second chance that you are their own cheerleader because you can see the connection and chemistry they share.

I am not sure if there will be more books in this series or not but I hope so. I want more, so much more, I want the extra point or the two point conversion that comes after a great play. For non-football fans it means I want more from the team, more from Ms. Van Dyken, I just want more!
